Go Hard or Go Home
Busy busy day today. Started my day at 4:30 AM simply because I woke up and could not get to sleep. So since I was up, it was off to Evolve to train. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu lesson with Zoro was awesome. I can remember the time not too long ago when I was totally helpless during class and now I can know techniques well enough to teach them to my training partner. So after training ended at 8 AM, rushed back home to eat a delicious cereal breakfast with Meiji milk (best milk no question) and then tuition at 10 AM.
10 AM tuition until 11:30 AM. Was an okay tuition lesson I guess, he was cooperative for like a majority of it but the last 15 minutes he was totally in no mood to do work and did his problem sums at a snail’s pace.
Then rushed off to Bugis for lesson at Play By Ear. Learning from Jonathan now is crazy. I must say the exercises and songs that he gives me are more demanding that I’m used to. Additionally, Jonathan is always asking me to join him at Blu Jazz cafe for open jam sessions but I know I will get totally DESTROYED if I jam with him. Hahaha… he acknowledges that too but he says its a “baptism by fire”. Problem with baptism by fire is that I might just be permanently roasted.
After that, the rest of the day was more relaxed. Came home and read the library books I borrowed on Krav Maga, BJJ and muay thai. It is really awesome to live in a condo attached to a shopping mall that has a library. After dinner I went to the library with my brother to return books and borrow more comics. I recently discovered that Sengkang library has lots of Deadpool comics. Deadpool is HILARIOUS. Imagine your typical superhero comic book, then imagine what it would be like if the writer was high on drugs or some shit. DEADPOOL. Hilarity through randomness and absurdity.
Ok, that’s it for my busy but I guess still rather mundane day. Gonna go to sleep and wake up early tomorrow for Muay Thai and BJJ. Fighting hard!
Side note: I should really get to doing more music. :( I haven’t created any music for ages.
